2014 Volkswagen Beetle GSR

Volkswagen has a new model for the 2014 Beetle range: the retro-themed Beetle GSR (German for “Yellow Black Racer”). The limited-edition (3,500 units) model is a re-interpretation of the 1970s GSR and comes with a distinctive yellow and black paint job with the “GSR” lettering on the side skirts. The car has a black trunklid, roof, and exterior mirrors and also comes with a large rear spoiler. The GSR rides on 19″ “Tornado” aluminum alloy wheels that also have black painted brake calipers.

The interior of the GSR also has some unique features and carries over the yellow and black theme. The black-trimmed leather seating and leather-wrapped sport steering wheel both have contrasting yellow stitching. The steering wheel also holds a badge with the special edition vehicle number.
