2014 BMW M5/M6 Competition Package

The BMW M Series are extremely capable performance cars and now you can add a little more boost to each with the 2014 Competition Packages. The M6 Gran Coupe models can be optioned with the Competition package for $6,000(USD). The Competition Package for the M5, M6 Coupe and M6 Convertible is priced at $7,300.

The Competition Package boosts the power output of the vehicle by 15 horsepower to 575hp and shaves 0.1 seconds off the 0-62 mph time and a full 0.2 seconds off the 0-124 mph time (except for the convertible version). The Package also enhances cornering dynamics and tractability, including unique tuning of the Active M Differential and M-specific Servotronic variable assist function on the rack-and-pinion steering. Finally, the Competition Package includes a more aggressive suspension profile and a remapped DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) and unique 20″ alloy wheels and black chrome quad tailpipes.
