Castello Cavalcanti: A Salute to Vintage Racing

Written by Kenny Hoeschen | November 14, 2013

(NSFW: Language) This short film is set in the year 1955 and stars Jason Schwartzman as an American car driver who crashes his vehicle into a statue of Jesus in the center of an Italian village, Castello Cavalcanti.

The film is written and directed by Wes Anderson, who also gave us Moonlight Kingdom, The Royal Tenenbaums and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, among many others. The film is presented by Prada, but the only Prada reference we saw was the logos on the racing jackets, which flash past pretty quickly.
