50 Years of Mustang

Jay Leno gets together with Lee Iacocca to show off the very first Mustang to roll off the assembly line, and take us back to the earliest days of America’s seminal pony car. We’re also enamored of the unrelated, but equally enthralling Mustang Mach 1 prototype, which we’ve seen in person at the Henry Ford Museum. The big payoff, about 15 minutes into the video, we get up close and personal with the new 2015 Mustang prototype, along with Mustang chief engineer Dave Pericak.

We only wish that for a video titled 50 Years of Mustang, they would have shown some of the models from the 49 years in the middle.
