Florida’s Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance is just around the corner, and there’s no better way to prepare for the upcoming event but by taking 15 minutes out of your busy to enjoy this amazingly shot short film.

Created by Justin Lapriore and Alexander Liberman of Let’sMakeMedia during last year’s event, Born of a Blue Sky is a true celebration of automotive excellence, capturing everything from the visceral, burbling exhaust notes of high-performance sports cars, to the quiet and leisurely pace of touring in the classics, to strange and exotic vehicles you’ve never seen before.

If you’re fortunate enough to be able to attend, the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance runs from March 7 to 9, 2014. And if you can’t go, you must watch this short film – it’s the next best thing to being there in person.
