A Ride in the Pagani Zonda – with Horacio Pagani

Written by Paul Strauss | February 5, 2014

Recently, XCAR interviewed the surprisingly down to earth Horacio Pagani, who shared his history and design philosophy. Apparently, Pagani then asked them to take a ride in his personal Zonda. Of course, they couldn’t say no, and documented this very special ride to share with the world.

Pagani’s Zonda (yes you read that right) is an S 7.3, the first all carbon fiber car to be shown off at the Geneva Motor Show. Once the car gets going, it’s amazing – and surprisingly easy to drive. In fact, Pagani claims that the V12-engined car feels just as comfortable and safe at 300km/h as it does at 200km/h, though he doesn’t show it off at those sort of speeds in this clip. Actually, his exact words are “It’s very, very safety” which makes him just that much more charming in our books.

Also, that exhaust note is just spectacular.
