Written by Kenny Hoeschen | February 12, 2014

After leaking out some images yesterday, Audi has officially unveiled its all-new 2015 S1 and S1 Sportback in this world premiere video. These quick little cars come with a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 231hp and 273 lb-ft. of torque. The S1 hits 0-100kmh (62mph) in 5.8 seconds with the Sportback coming in at 5.9 secs. The top speed for each is 155 mph and you can expect to achieve mileage of 33.6 mpg average.

Of course, the cars come with Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system, and Audi says the suspension has been significantly revamped for the new cars versus their A1 little sisters. The S1 models also differ with larger brakes and a larger master brake cylinder along with an optional red brake caliper with the S1 logo. Each is standards with 17-inch wheels or 18-inch wheels optional.

The S1 and S1 sportback will be available in Germany in the second quarter of 2014 and will be priced starting at €29,950 and €30,800 respectively (~$40,845 and $42,005 USD). No doubt the S1 models will be great fun to drive and we’re looking forward to getting behind the wheel for a spin.
