Volvo Polestar Racing Shows off Its 650hp V8

Volvo put its new V8 engine slotted for use in its 2014 S60 Supercars on the test bed and fired it up for our listening pleasure – and we like what we hear. This 650 horsepower, 4,989cc Volvo B8444S V8 tops out at 7,500 rpm and the carbon fiber parts help to keep the weight down. We can’t wait to see Volvo drop these into some S60s and get out on the track.
