Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet Karmann Edition

At the AMI Leipzig 2014 show, Volkswagen is showing off a special edition of the convertible Beetle, in tribute to the classic Karman Beetle Cabriolets built from 1949 to 1980.

The Beetle Cabriolet Karmann Edition has been fitted with a Sioux Brown folding soft top, 18-inch alloy wheels, and limited-edition badging. Inside, it’s got a leather wrapped steering wheel, two-tone sport seats, alloy pedals, an aluminum dashboard, and a Karmann badged wind deflector and door sills.

Volkswagen will start taking orders for the Beetle Cabriolet Karmann Edition in July 2014, though it’s unclear if or when the vehicle will be available outside of Europe.
