We’ve enjoyed watching  footage from the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. For us, it never gets old watching cars and talented drivers zip their way up the treacherous and thrilling 19.99km (12.42 mile) uphill Colorado route. The overall winner of the 2014 race was driver Romain Dumas in his Norma M20, with a time of 9 minutes, 5 seconds. And now, we have the in-car footage of his impressive run to the top.

While the footage we’ve seen of Mitsubshi’s EV contender is pretty cool, there’s just something so much more satisfying about the sound of an internal combustion engine. In this case, it’s a turbocharged 2.0-liter Honda K20 4-banger, with about 450 horsepower set into Dumas’s French prototype racer.
