0-to-211mph in a Huracán

We’re always hearing about the impressive top speeds of supercars, but it’s rare that you actually get to see one drive anywhere near the limit. In this clip from sport auto’s Christian Gebhardt, we get to go for a ride inside the new Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4, pushing the car to an impressive 340km/h (~211mph) along the way.

Sadly, the video only shows the instrument panel, and doesn’t give us a view out of the window. Still, it’s pretty amazing to watch as the speedometer goes from 0-to-200 km/h in about 9 seconds, putting it neck and neck with the much pricier Aventador.

You’ll notice the 4WD overheat indicator kicks in around 233 km/h (144mph). Apparently this can happen if you’re using different size front tires than the factory tires, and it’s not a defect.

The official top speed for the Huracán is listed “greater than 202mph,” so this video proves the car can do significantly better than Lamborghini claims.
