Renault Mégane RS 275 AIR 14 Limited Edition

Renault will be building just 50 models of this special “AIR 14” edition of the Mégane RS 275. With styling that takes its design cues from the Renault Mégane RS 275 Trophy-R that secured the record lap time for a front-wheel drive car at Nürburgring, this edition celebrates 100 years since the founding of the Swiss Air Force, 50 years of the Patrouille Suisse aerobatic display team and 25 years of the PC-7 team.

The AIR 14 shows off 19-inch red Speedline Turini lightweight alloy wheels and a Pearl White finish (also available in Starry Black or Cassiopeia Grey) with bold red and white stripes along the back. More importantly, the car is fitted with all the attributes of Mégane RS 275: the Cup chassis with limited-slip differential, titanium exhaust system and carbon muffler and a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine delivering 275hp. The F1-style front blade and the rear wings are inscribed with the words “AIR 14”. Inside, the car has Recaro bucket seats in leather and Alcantara along with red top-stiching. Finishing off the look are a Zamak shifter knob and Alcantara-trimmed steering wheel. Each comes with a numbered plaque behind the gearstick signifying its number in the edition of 50.

The car will be shown at the Swiss airshow, AIR14, as the official sponsor and car partner of the show. Exclusively available in the Swiss market, the car will thereafter go on sale for €36,800 (~$48,340 USD).
