Toca Bringing 600hp Hyundai Genesis to SEMA

The Chicago-based tuning specialists at Toca Marketing Group will be bringing a supertuned Hyundai Genesis to the November 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The team managed to push the Genesis to 600 horsepower thanks mostly to a Garrett twin-turbocharger and an ARK performance exhaust system. This is on top of the Genesis’s standard 5.0-liter V8 engine, and adds 180 hp to that engine’s output.

The team calls the resulting beast the “Steel Phoenix” and founder John Toca says the car will go head-to-head with cars from Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. The car also sports a custom all-metal bodykit, with a wider, lower stance all around, an AirRex digitally-controlled air suspension, 21-inch wheels, eight-piston brake calipers in front and six-piston calipers in back. The team also reworked the interior, with custom black leather seating and contrast white stitching, carbon fiber trim, Prosport EVO Series gauges, and an audio system powered by Rockford Fosgate.
