7-year-old Boy Pushes a BMW i3

Part of the magic behind the BMW i3’s efficiency is its lightweight carbon-fiber reinforced plastic construction, along with its impressively low rolling resistance. Weighing in at just 2,635 pounds, the pure-electric car is quite svelte, given its spacious four-passenger cabin and 95+ mile battery range.

To drive home the point, one reviewer demonstrated how incredibly easy it is to push the car, enlisting a 7-year-old boy to do the job. While it’s likely the same could be achieved with other subcompact cars, I’d bet that the same couldn’t be said for the minivans and CUVs that the i3 competes with. Oh, and here’s a 4-year-old attempting the same feat:
