Ringbrothers Bringing 980hp Chevelle to SEMA

The custom car builders at Ringbrothers have released a few teaser images of the 1966 Chevy Chevelle they’ll be unveiling at the SEMA Show 2014. The teaser image show the classic lines of the Chevelle with carbon fiber details, including the front and rear bumpers and the side mirrors. It appears that Ringbrothers has also added a safety cage on the inside and replace the Chevelle’s tail lights with ones that remind us of the lights on the current Corvette and Camaro – still sticking to the Chevrolet roots.

The Ringbrothers are calling the 980 horsepower beast the “Ringbrothers Recoil,” but, with a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 under the hood, I don’t anyone will have time to recoil when this thing flies past them on the highway. We’ll be sure to check back when the cover is lifted off this classic Chevy in November.
