Regular Car Reviews’ Take on the 2002 Honda Civic Is Spot on

We see lots of car reviews, from the Zzzquil-esque Consumer Reports style “the cabin decibel level was…” type of reviews to the Clarkson-esque “the engine sounded like Thor’s PCP farts and the leather tasted of wet brick” style of reviews. What we sadly don’t see too many of is reviews that look genuinely at what a car is versus what it is trying to accomplish. Measuring a fun fashion accessory like a Fiat 500 Gucci Edition in the same way as you would a Lotus Elise would be absolute madness.

That’s what makes Regular Car Reviews, and its take on the 2002 Honda Civic, so perfect. There’s no BS, just an honest take on the car. Even more astounding is the fact that there’s also an understanding of why the Civic has the flaws that it does. It all makes sense from a business point of view, and from the point of view of the actual buyers of Civics that don’t have an Si badge and wayyyy too many VTEC decals. The fact that it’s still entertaining is just the icing on the cake.
