Koenigsegg One:1 Roars up the Goodwood Hill Climb

If I hit the lotto and suddenly took home a huge amount of money, the first car I would buy is the Koenigsegg One:1. I love how the car looks, sounds, and performs. It’s easily the coolest hypercar out there in my eyes. At the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK, a Koenigsegg factory test driver was offering hot laps up the hill climb in the One:1.

In this POV video clip, Jalopnik writer Mate Petrany was the lucky left seat passenger who got to enjoy the ride of his life. The driver didn’t go flat out, but the performance and sounds mustered from the sexy beast is impressive at any speed.

Why didn’t he drive the car for all it’s worth you ask? Well, the car was a customer car that had already been sold for over $3 million. The car had been purchased by a team of collectors it seems and they are brave for letting a car costing that much go up the hill at speed. I would love to see this thing driven for all its worth.
