Water-Injected BMW Concept M4 GTS Ready for the Track

Back in April a rumor was going around that BMW was working on the M4 GTS, and that the car might get water injection. That rumor has come true with BMW unveiling the Concept M4 GTS this week at Pebble Beach. That car does in fact rock water injection, just as BMW uses on its M4 MotoGP Safety Car. That system is designed to help the car make more power.

BMW is mum on just how much power the M4 GTS produces, but it’s got some sweet looking track aero with a manually adjustable carbon fiber rear wing and carbon fiber front splitter. It also has lightweight forged wheels shod with sticky Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires in 265/35-19 front and 285/30-20 rears.

This concept car is covered in a sweet frozen dark grey paint color with acid orange accents on the car and wheels. One thing BMW hasn’t said is if the concept car will go into production. The OLED tail lights on the car will come to production BMWs later this year.
