Ford to Blitz SEMA with 28 Custom SUVs and Crossovers

Normally when I think of Ford and SEMA show cars, it’s all about custom Mustangs, which abound at SEMA every year. Ford is making a big push this year to get customizers and car folks to want its new SUVs and crossovers.

Specifically, Ford will have 28 different custom 2015 Edge Sport and 2016 Explorer Sport vehicles on hand at the show. Each of the custom SUVs will have special paint and accessories. Three of the cool Edge SUVs get custom wheels, paint, and engine upgrades.

Custom SUVs are a cool way to go for those who need the space to haul people and gear, but still want a uniquely styled vehicle. I think my favorite of the bunch is the red and black Explorer that has the custom carbon fiber roof rack on it.
