Kia Soul EV Now Available on the East Coast

The Kia Soul EV has been around for a while now, and originally it debuted exclusively for sale in California. After being offered in Cali exclusively for a time, Kia rolled the Soul EV out to several other sates including Georgia, Hawaii, Oregon, Texas, and Washington.

Kia has now announced the next phase of the Soul EV rollout bringing availability to ten states. The new states are all on the East coast and include New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Maryland. In those states, 19 dealerships are certified to service and sell the Soul EV.

Its 27 kWh battery pack gives the Soul EV a 93-mile driving range (even more in stop-start city driving) and it can charge fully in five hours from a Level 2 charger. Pricing for the Soul EV starts at $34,775(USD) including the destination charge. As a pure EV, the car is also eligible for a $7,500 federal tax rebate.
