Sixth Gen COPO Camaro Ready to Tear up Drag Strips

In addition to its four more street-friendly Camaros, Chevrolet has rolled out the all-new sixth generation COPO Camaro at SEMA 2015. The car is designed specifically for NHRA drag racing and can be had with three different engines under the hood.

Power comes from one of three engines including a supercharged 350 with a 2.9L Whipple blower, NA 7.0L 427ci engine, and a LT-based 376 6.2L engine. All of the engines are backed by a race-prepped turbo 400 three-speed automatic.

The car also has an NHRA certified roll cage, racing seats, safety harness, and floor mounted shifter. It comes fitted with all the components needed to roll out of the trailer and go racing in NHRA Stock or Super Stock classes. Chevy plans to build only 69 units for 2016, and those interested in buying one, can register their interest here.
