Bentley’s New Trim Options Rock

Bentley is a super-luxury brand that is well known for giving the well-heeled buyers the ability to completely customize the inside of the car. Buyers can choose from trims like leather, carbon fiber, metal and wood. Bentley has announced that buyers now have a new trim option – stone.

The stone trim can be had in four colors: Galaxy, Autumn White, Terra Red and Copper. I always thought of stone as something for kitchen counters or floors, but it looks fantastic in these extravagant cars.

A company called Mulliner makes Bentley’s veneers and each takes weeks to finish. They start with slabs cut to less than a millimeter thick. Those slabs are then worked and formed into curved trim pieces that perfectly fit the Bentley dash.

There’s no word on how much money the stone trim option costs, but if you’re buying a Bentley, money is really no object.
