Aston Martin Teases New 5.2L V12 Twin-Turbo Engine

Say the name Aston Martin, and I always think of James Bond. Aston makes some cars with V8 engines, but the true Astons all have a V12 under the hood if you ask me. I’ve heard the Aston V8 cars in person and they sound more like American muscle than what an Aston should really sound like.

The V12 engines on the other hand are an entirely different animal. Aston is teasing its new V12 twin-turbo engine. All Aston is showing us about the engine so far is its 5.2-liter displacement, and an all too short video that lets us hear a tiny bit of the beast’s roar.  The displacement is a bit smaller than Aston’s previous V12s, but the turbos should make up for it.

The new V12 sounds fantastic. I can’t wait to see what car it will end up in, and to hear it in action in an actual vehicle.
