First Ford Focus RS Rolls off Assembly Line

If your heart is set on owning a new Ford Focus RS, the first of the production cars have left the assembly line. That means that deliveries of the Focus RS will kick off soon. The much desired rally-inspired cars are now rolling off the assembly line in Saarlouis, Germany.

The 350hp, AWD Focus RS is set to go on sale in the U.S. this spring. Ford dealers in the states are notorious for adding sometimes massive markups to popular and desirable Ford Performance cars. Markups as high as $10,000 have been seen on GT350 models, so it remains to be seen if dealers try and mark up the Focus RS similarly.

I’m looking forward to seeing these cars out at the racetrack, I want to see what it can do on a road course badly.
