2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA and AMG CLA45 Break Cover

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the refreshed CLA and CLA45 AMG for 2017. The CLA gets a variety of small, but meaningful tweaks for the new year, including LED headlamps, hands-free access (for performing tasks like opening the trunk hands-free), and active brake assist as standard.

The Active Brake Assist feature activates the brakes autonomously to avoid rear-end collisions. Inside the car has a slimmer freestanding 8-inch media display with trim elements on the interior in matte black ash wood and microfiber trim. Mercedes has a new Lunar Blue metallic paint available for the car with six wheel designs available to choose from.

Base CLA250 and CLA250 4Matic cars get a 208hp inline four making 258 lb-ft. of torque. The AMG CLA45 has an inline four with an impressive 375 hp and 350 lb-ft. of torque. Mercedes says the AMG version can reach 60mph in 4.1 seconds and has a 155mph top speed. The refreshed CLA will hit dealerships in Q3 2016.
