Ford GT Buyer Application is EXTENSIVE

Earlier this week, the configurator for the Ford GT went live allowing us to scope out our fantasy rides. We have known for a while that Ford is handpicking the people that it will allow to buy a Ford GT and that there would be an application process for those who want one.

If you have been wondering what sort of questions will be on the application to purchase, we now know. The image gallery below shows every page of the application. Keep in mind that each section appears depending on the categor(ies) you place yourself into (i.e. previous GT owner, car collector, Ford affiliate, etc..) so you won’t have to fill out every single question.

Collectors are asked about significant cars in their collections, and Ford owners are asked about what Ford vehicles they have and previously have owned. I really like the fact that Ford also asks if you plan to track the car.

Regardless of the extensive application, I bet shortly after the first deliveries are made we will see these cars turning up at high-end auctions seeking massive markups. I’m also wondering if Ford is going to allow dealerships that sell these cars to add markups to them. Some GT350 buyers have been asked to pay thousands and thousands of dollars over sticker.
