2017 Corvette Grand Sport Price Announced

Last month, we talked about the sexy and fast 2017 Corvette Grand Sport. The car is essentially a Z06 without a supercharger. What we didn’t know at the time was exactly how much the Grand Sport would cost. Chevy has now announced the starting price for the car in coupe and convertible form.

The coupe will start at $66,445(USD) with the convertible selling for $70,445, including the delivery charge. Grand Sport drivers can reach 60mph in 3.6 seconds and run the quarter mile in 11.8 seconds when using the paddle shift automatic. A 7-speed manual with active rev matching is standard.

There are many options that can be added to improve the performance but pricing on the options hasn’t been announced. The Grand Sport can be had with the Z07 package and when fitted with that package, it gets fast-stopping carbon ceramic brake rotors, and can generate up to 1.2g in lateral acceleration, thanks in part to sticky Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Standard Grand Sport models can generate 1.05g in cornering, which isn’t exactly shabby.
