Rolls-Royce Wraith Stealthily Terrorizes Goodwood

The sheer wealth of exotic machinery that turns up each year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed is staggering. There are plenty of vintage racers and amazing sports cars at the event. When you see a gigantic Rolls-Royce sitting at the starting line, you expect a champagne sipping rear seat passenger telling the driver to be careful and don’t spill their drink.

However, this particular Rolls is one of the Black Badge Wraith models and big it may be, but it’s a beast. The burnout the luxobarge lays down at the start is pretty epic. It’s only natural when you have a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 sending all that torque to the rear wheels.

The video is well worth a watch. It’s amazing to see something so massive haul so much ass, and do it so quietly. A slight whoosh is all you hear as the car zooms by. I guess the super wealthy don’t want to hear their speed.
