2017 Ram 1500 Copper Sport is a Pretty Penny

Ram is showing off a new special edition truck that will be at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show. The truck is called the Ram 1500 Copper Sport. This is the first time that Ram has used the Copper Pearl paint color, which looks great.

It rides on 22-inch polished aluminum wheels on the rear-wheel drive model, while four-wheel drive versions get 20-inch wheels. Like other Ram 1500 Sport models, this one comes in regular, quad, and crew cab models, and with either a 3.6-liter V6 with 305hp and 269 lb-ft. of torque, or a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 with 395 hp and 410 lb-ft. of torque.

Inside, the truck gets Copper-colored accent stitching, sport embroidery on the headrests, and sport mesh on the seat inserts. There’s matching anodized copper-painted trim, along with a black headliner and pillars. The Copper Sport also gets a nine-speaker Alpine audio system with a subwoofer.

The first Copper Sport trucks will hit dealerships later this month. Ram is limiting production to 3,000 units and the truck will start at $45,630.
