2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 is Meant for the Dirt

The Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 is a cool little off-road performance truck. It gets upgrades like standard electronic locking front and rear diffs, Multimatic Dynamic Suspensions Spool Valve dampers, off-road rocker protection, and modified front and rear bumpers.

ZR2 trucks are lifted 2-inches over normal Colorados and have wider front and rear tracks and special hoods. The truck also gets exclusive 17 x 8 alloy wheels and 31-inch Wrangler off-road tires. The standard engine is a 3.6L V6 and all ZR2 trucks are standard with 4WD.

Buyers can opt for a 2.8L Duramax turbodiesel engine, crew or extended cabs, a bed-mounted spare carrier, and a 7-speaker Bose audio system.

The interior has leather as standard and carpet, but the no-cost optional vinyl floor might be the ticket for hard-core off-roaders.

The Colorado ZR2 will launch this spring, starting at $40,995(USD) including the destination charge.
