2018 Lincoln Navigator Is the Fanciest Navigator Ever

Lincoln has unveiled the new 2018 Lincoln Navigator, and the big 7-seater is very attractive indeed. The all-new full-size SUV promises “quiet luxury” and has very cool styling, including a bold and imposing version of Lincoln’s new trademark grille.

Power comes from a twin-turbo V6 engine making 450hp and 500 lb-ft. of torque, connected to a new 10-speed automatic transmission. The new Navigator uses an aluminum alloy body for reduced weight to the tune of nearly 200 pounds compared to the old model. Less weight also means better performance, towing, and fuel economy.

The interior is spacious, offering enough legroom and headroom for seven adults, along with luxurious new seating surfaces. Both the driver and front seat passenger get 30-way adjustable seats, which include heating, cooling, and massage functionality. You can even adjust the height of each of your thighs based on your individual driving position.

The seats can all recline, and a panoramic sunroof floats overhead to provide added light in the cabin. The vehicle uses laminated front and side glass to make the interior quieter than ever.

SYNC 3, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Wi-Fi are all included and there is an available rear seat entertainment system which passengers in the second row enjoy their own programming. Each row gets a pair of USB ports too, and front-row wireless charging is available as an option. An ultra-premium Revel Ultima 20-speaker sound system is also available.

To add to the drama at night, there’s a Lincoln star logo that glows as the owner approaches, and the interior lights illuminate row by row for a theatrical effect.

Lincoln has yet to announce pricing or a release date for the new Navigator.
