Shelby GT350 and GT350R Return for 2018

Ford has announced some good news for fans of the Shelby GT350 and GT350R Mustangs that weren’t able to get their hands on one yet. The car will carryover to 2018. For the new model year, the cars will get all the same specs and options, with the exception of some new paint colors.

The new colors include Orange Fury, Kona Blue, and Lead Foot Gray. Other than the colors, the 2018 models get the same flat-plane cranked 5.2-liter V8 with 526 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque. An electronics package is offered on the GT350 and GT350R adding Sync 3, navigation, and 9-speaker audio.

The Convenience Package is offered on the GT350 and it replaces the Recaro seats with 6-way power heated and cooled sports seats with Miko suede inserts. Pricing should be unchanged, but wasn’t mentioned by Ford.
