BMW has redesigned and rebadged their previous M3 coupes and convertibles to carry the new 4-series name. As we’ve come to expect with the BMW M Series, they look fantastic. BMW originally tagged this coupe as a concept car, but for all intents and purposes it looks ready for production.

The finish shown in these images and videos is called, “Aurum Dust.” We have no idea what aurum is, but we like it. The coupe shows matching painted brake calipers, carbon fiber dual exhaust, and an aggressive front end with BMW’s iconic twin round headlamps and three large air intakes to feed the twin turbo powered six cylinder engine. To keep the car as light as possible, the roof, front splitter, and rear diffuser are made of CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastics).

The six-cylinder in-line engine with BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology was newly developed for the M4 Coupe and M3 Sedan and produces a maximum output of approximately 430 hp.
