MINI Countryman/Paceman Frozen Black Edition

MINI has announced a new limited edition color choice for its top of the line MINI Countryman and MINI Paceman models. The paint, called “Frozen Black metallic” has a textured, shimmering matte finish. The finish — which requires a specialized application process exclusive to the BMW Group — includes a base layer for grip and corrosion protection, the color layer, a clear lacquer finish with added silicates to create the matted impression and the velvet effect which can be both seen and felt. Due to the extensive process, the number of cars available with the finish will be limited.
