Drifting Crown Range

Drift racer “Mad Mike” Whiddett took his tricked-out 514hp Mazda RX7 along the scenic and twisty Crown Range highway between Queenstown and Wanaka, New Zealand, hitting speeds up to 145mph, and using his handbrake with aplomb in the turns. We kept expecting to see a Hobbit trying to cross the road as smoke and flame belched forth from the rear of Mike’s ride.
