The 1969 to 1973 Datsun 240Z is one of those classic Japanese sports cars that always brings a smile to our faces when we still see one driving around. Electric Federal created this short documentary film about what made the “Fairlady” Z so special then, and why it’s still such a fun car to drive. There’s just something so pure about its high torque, carbureted inline-six, basic four-speed transmission, and compact two-seat cabin that you can’t avoid feeling connected to the road in.
