While there aren’t any public roads in the U.S. where you can legally drive the shiny new Corvette C7 at top speed, the unrestricted speed lanes of Germany’s Autobahns are fair game for pushing cars to their legal limits. In this brief clip from Chevrolet Europe’s Patrick Hermann pushes the brand new ‘Vette to a peak speed of 300km/h (~186mph). Along the way, we get to see the C7’s handy dandy system for measuring launch times, and a not-too-shabby 0-to-62mph time of 4.2 seconds.
