2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid
The first hybrid vehicle to come out of Subaru combines a 2.0-liter Boxer engine with a 13.4hp electric motor to increase fuel efficiency of the compact crossover up to 33MPG on the highway and 29MPG in the city.
The vehicle offers standard symmetrical all-wheel drive and a Lineartronic continuously variable transmission with paddle shifters. Like the gas version, torque is dynamically distributed to the wheels based on driving conditions, acceleration and cornering. The XV is also known for its industry leading ground clearance of 8.7 inches.
Pricing for the XV Crosstrek Hybrid starts at $25,995(USD), while the upgraded Touring model, starts at $29,295.
