  • Powertrain: 610hp 5.2-liter V10 engine, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission
  • 0-to-62 Time (secs): 3.2 secs.
  • City/Hwy/Combined MPG: 18.8 (combined)
  • Curb Weight (lb): 3135 lbs.

After numerous rumors, rumblings and teaser videos, Lamborghini has officially revealed the successor to the Gallardo. The Huracán LP 610-4 supercar is unmistakably a Lambo from the exterior, and under the hood it sounds like one as well. It packs a brand new V10 power plant with 610hp, and 413 lb-ft. of torque.

Top speed for the Huracán is quoted as “over 325 km/h” or about 202MPH. 0-to-62MPH time is an equally impressive 3.2 seconds.  It’s operated by a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and offers selectable driving modes for touring, sport and track. Inside the car, expect lush materials including Nappa leather and Alcantara, LED lighting throughout as well as a large 12.3-inch color TFT instrument panel and a true cockpit-like driving experience.

Fuel economy has been improved to an unexpectedly reasonable 18.8MPG, though that figure includes the annoying stop/start technology that’s been turning up in vehicles these days. We’re sure that figure will drop significantly going flat out.

Lamborghini plans on showing its first Huracáns to “qualified prospects” starting in January 2014. For now, we only have a handful of images of the car, but we’ll update with more, and video content as they emerge.
