2015 Subaru WRX STI Leaked Before Detroit

Subura’s all-new 2015 WRX STI is confirmed to debut at the 2014 NAIAS in Detroit and, from what we’ve already seen, it looks to be a great car in the legacy of the WRX. With just a few days before that reveal, a batch of allegedly official photos have leaked of the WRX STI sporting a large rear fin and tearing up a mountain road like it’s been bred to do.
The new WRX STI packs an updated 2.0-liter turbocharged Boxer engine under the hood, delivering 268hp and paired with either a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional Sport Lineartronic CVT automatic gearbox with two manual modes. The WRX STI will go from 0-to-60 in 5.4 seconds with the manual and 6.4 seconds in the automatic. On the inside, the car will come with sports seats, a flat-bottomed leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a dual gauge instrument panel with a 3.5″ LCD screen and a multi-information 4.3″ central LCD screen.
