2015 Chevy Corvette Z06

Chevrolet extends its reach into supercar territory with the new 2015 Z06. This bad boy gets its get up and go from an intensely powerful supercharged 625hp LT4 6.2-liter V8, and cranking out 635 lb-ft. of torque. Choose from a seven-speed manual or a fast-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission, with flappy paddle shifters, natch.

The ‘Vettes sturdy aluminum structure provides support for a removable rooftop panel for an open-air driving experience, without negative impact on body stiffness. Body mods such as flared fenders allow for wider tires, while larger vents improve cooling.

The optional Z07 performance package offers even better downforce, as well as Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, and Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup track tires.

Chevy expects to ship the new Corvette Z06 in early 2015.
