Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin is one of the country’s great road circuits. First established in 1955, Road America carries on the tradition of races that used to occur around the old Elkhart Lake road course. During one of the vintage car festivals at Road America, Performance Restorations took a 1965 Corvette around the four-mile track with a 427 engine under the hood and more than 700 horsepower.

In this POV video of driver Brent Jarvis’s three-lap qualifying, he managed to finish in position #2. The Corvette shows its true colors on this wonderful track and has no problem passing a ’69 Camaro and a ’69 Mustang on the way around.

Thanks to the BangShift for uncovering this great video.
