Formula Drift racer Daigo Saito is one of the greats of the Japanese drifting scene, and in this clip, one very lucky dude got to tag along and capture GoPro POV footage of the master at work, hooning around the Ebisu South circuit in his JZX-90 Mark II road missile.

At a couple of points around the track, you can tell that the car’s wheels have left the ground mid-drift, and those tandem drift shots where he’s just inches away from the blue car are amazing – though it’s clear that guy has been dinged up more than a few times.

And if you don’t believe that Saito is capable of jump-drifting, check out this clip:

For a far more in-depth look at Daigo’s latest drift missile – the JZX-100, be sure to check out Drifted’s feature, which includes some great original photos of his ride.
