A Ride in the 1959 Pontiac Bonneville

Written by Paul Strauss | February 3, 2014

/DRIVE’s Mike Musto takes us behind what could possible be one of the longest two-door cars of all time – the 1959 Pontiac Bonneville. While the car isn’t a high performance muscle car, it’s one of the most spectacular looking American classics we’ve seen.

The 19 foot-long, wide-track cruiser has incredible styling outside and in. Just one look at the chrome on the dashboard will remind you of what greatness once came from the now-defunct Pontiac. Owner Chuck Cushner has done an amazing job restoring this car to its current state – especially given the disastrous state it was in when he found it.
