Cadillac ATS Convertible Envisioned

While Cadillac hasn’t announced an ATS convertible model at this point, it sure doesn’t seem like a bad idea. The forthcoming 2015 ATS coupe looks grand, so why shouldn’t it get a drop-top variant? Fortunately, artist Remco Meulendijk has put together a rock-solid looking rendering of what an ATS convertible just might look like, and we like what we see.

Remco speculates that with Cadillac entering the luxury sport coupe arena, it only stands to reason that they’ll want to compete with brands like Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, who offer convertible variants of some of their popular coupes. We sure hope he’s right, as we’d love to hit some winding roads in one with the top down – preferably with the 321HP 3.6L V6 engine under the hood.
