Aston Martin V12 Vantage Goes Ice Drifting

With much of the Northern Hemisphere covered in snow this time of year, it’s no wonder so many of the car videos showing up on the Internet these days involve driving on ice and snow. And while it’s probably advisable that your daily winter driver is some sort of sturdy 4×4 or at least an AWD, there’s nothing quite so fun as a high torque rear wheel-drive car for slipping around if you’ve got a safe place to do it in.

Take, for example, this Aston Martin V12 Vantage S doing some winter drifting in Saint Moritz, Switzerland. The guys from NM2255 captured this beautiful blue beast tearing up the ice and snow with its 565 horsepower V12 engine and 457 lb-ft. of torque. While it’s not exactly the most nimble of cars on the ice, it sure looks like a blast – and that sound is a delight for our ears.
