Maserati LaMaserati Concept Car

UK Designer Mark Hostler envisions this incredible “LaMaserati” concept car, based on the LaFerrari platform. The LaMaserati carries over the same 6.3-liter V12 engine with the kinetic energy recovery system removed to save weight. Hostler decided to build the car on a LaFerrari platform in much the same way as the Maserati MC12 was built around the Ferrari Enzo.

The LaMaserati shows off its stunning profile and sweeping curves in a blue and white color scheme that is tied to Maserati’s heritage. Hostler says that the reduced weight helps to compensate for the loss of power and torque resulting from the removal of the KERS and the car is focused more on lightness, handling and an analog driving feel rather than power and overall speed.
