Mazzanti Evantra V8 Driving Footage

Long in the works, the Mazzanti Evantra V8 is one of those elusive supercar designs that has been shown numerous times in rendered and prototype forms, but we didn’t know if or when we’d see the actual car driving on a road. Well, that day has come, and the Italian-built sports car looks pretty incredible from the promo video they released this week.

The Evantra is powered by a 7.0-liter V8, packing a whopping 701 horsepower and 624 lb-ft. of torque. While its chassis is made from steel and chromoly, between its carbon fiber body and that engine, it’s spec’d to zip from 0-to62 mph in just 3.2 seconds. The company only plans on making five Evantras each year, so you probably won’t ever see one in person.

While the car sure looks and sounds sexy, we think they need to rename it, as all we can think of is the Hyundai Elantra whenever we say its name.
