Lexus RC F GT3 Racing Concept Previewed

Lexus will be unveiling its RC F GT3 concept at the upcoming 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Weighing in at just 2,755 pounds, the GT3 Racing Concept packs a modified version of the RC F’s 5.0-liter V8 engine, boosting horsepower from the production 450 up to a whopping 540.

Lexus will be supplying GT3-compliant vehicles to racing teams beginning in 2015, with vehicle testing to start this year. They are expected to compete in races from the 24 Hours of Nürburgring endurance race in Germany and the Super Taikyu Endurance and Super GT series in Japan.

This vehicle is sure to be very quick around the track, but we’re not sure what to make of the paint job. Frankly, we’re not sure whether it’s a successful attempt at modern design or whether Rainbow Brite snuck into the paint studio.
