Regular Car Reviews: 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT
The latest Regular Car Review waxes poetic about the rare animal that is the American mid-engine 2-seater. It’s a silly film noir parody, but eventually puts us behind the wheel of the hate-it-so-much-we-love-it Pontiac Fiero GT, and does make us wonder why America doesn’t embrace mid-engine designs.
The car only was only made from 1984 to 1988, and suffered from performance and reliability issues. In fact, every time we see one on the road, we think say “there goes the last Fiero.”
